HOW TO GET THERE

BY AIRPLANE: There are regular flights to Kefalonia from Athens. The airport of Kefalonia is 8 kilometers outside Argostoli, the capital of the island.
BY FERRY BOAT: There are ferry services from Patra to Sami (3,5 hours), and from Kyllini (Ilia, Peloponnese) to Lixouri, Argostoli and Poros in Kefalonia.
There are frequent KTEL bus services from Athens to Patra and Kyllini. There are also trains from Athens to Patra.

Kefalonia has an extensive road network and regularly scheduled. There are car and motorcycle rentals in every corner of the island.
